On 11 June 2026, the National Institute for Research and Development of Isotopic and Molecular Technologies (INCDTIM) organized the METROFOOD-RO EVOLVE Online Conference for Early-Career Researchers.
The event was held within the framework of the project Strengthening the Integration of the Romanian METROFOOD-RO EVOLVE Node into the European METROFOOD-RI Research Infrastructure (code SMIS 2021+ 309287) and aimed to promote knowledge exchange, present scientific results, and encourage collaboration among early-career researchers working in areas relevant to food safety and quality.
The conference brought together representatives of the partner institutions involved in the consortium coordinated by the Institute of Food Bioresources (IBA): INCDTIM Cluj-Napoca, “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați, University of Life Sciences “King Mihai I” from Timișoara, INCDO-INOE 2000 – ICIA Cluj-Napoca Branch, University of Bucharest, University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest (USAMV), and INMA Bucharest.
Representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR), InfoCons, and the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA) also participated in the event.
The conference provided a valuable platform for presenting the research activities carried out within the project, facilitating interdisciplinary dialogue and creating new opportunities for collaboration among participants.
