Research Interests and Expertise

  • Environmental Science and Engineering, Ecotoxicology, Management of Risks and Natural/Technological Disasters, Soil and Water Decontamination, Integrated Analysis of Sediments
  • Synthesis and characterization of micro- and nano- magnetic structures/based on functionalized polymers
  • Designing new technologies and methods for treating water contaminated with organic/inorganic pollutants
  • Dating sediments and determination of sedimentation rates/ sources
  • Electrochemical determination of nitrites/ sulphures
  • Assessment of impact on waters, soils and sediments
