International Project Office has been established in order to offer essential support for researchers who would like to transform their innovative ideas into projects with international / European funding.

Our role (mission) is to offer consultancy and technical support concerning the proposal writing, submission process, as well as management of research and innovation projects. We propose to increase the success rate of submitted proposals through our expertise in identifying the proper calls and by adjusting the projects to be in accordance with the requirements of the international work programs.

Main objectives:

Identify financing opportunities by continuously scanning the relevant calls (Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, COST, EEA Grants, etc.) and guide the research groups in finding the best suited program.

Training and mentoring: we organize workshops and training sessions in order to improve the proposal writing and project management skills.

In-person guidance in proposal writing: we offer support in preparing the project proposal, building argumentation, formulate objectives, as well as in assuring the accordance with the call’s specific requirements. We can offer guidance in writing the parts in a proposal targeting Impact, Communication-Dissemination-Exploitation, key performance indicators, promoting citizen science and visibility, gender balance and ethics issues, etc. In the same time we would like to help in designing the proper work package structure and budget breakdown.

Assistance during project implementation and management: for contracted projects we offer administrative and logistic support in order to facilitate efficient management, with special attention to financial and reporting requirements.

Increase visibility: we offer support in communication activities during the project timespan such as international networks, events, and creating an image of excellence.

Through these actions the International Project Office is a trustful partner for researchers, contributes to increasing our institute’s competitivity, and contributes to obtain financing in order to support innovation and scientific progress.
