- Material Science, Chemistry, Chemistry Physics, Applied Physics
- Chemical and physico-chemical synthesis pathways in order to obtain nanomaterials with complex architectures designed for interdisciplinary applications (materials for energy, medicine, depollution etc.)
- Post-synthesis preparation techniques (eg.: annealing)
- Fundamental magnetic phenomena such as hard/soft exchange interaction
- Techniques to investigate structure, microstructure, magnetic, photoluminescent and spectroscopic properties
